The Sculpture Path Art on the Dike is a two-part sculpture path along the cycling trail around the Lower Saxony Jade Bay. The first sculpture path, featuring seven sculptures related to the creation story, was created in the Expo year 2000 and is located at the western Jade Bay between Mariensiel and Dangast. The continuation of the sculpture path was established in the autumn of 2003 at the eastern Jade Bay between Varel and Eckwarderhörne and also showcases seven sculptures on the theme “The Flood - Preservation of Creation behind the Dike.” In 2010, the sculpture path was supplemented with the artwork “The Tower of Babel - The House of God among Humans.”
