The Weilerskopf telecommunications tower is a type tower of the type "FMT 2" completed in 1969, with a height of 130.7 meters. It is located in the district of an exclave of the municipality of Herxheim am Berg. Today, it is only used for mobile telecommunications and microwave links. Radio broadcasts from here only took place in DAB mode. It was the main transmitter for block LB of the Ludwigshafen L band with an ERP of 1 kW. Meanwhile, this DAB transmitter has been switched off.
