The St. John the Baptist Church in Hilter am Teutoburg Forest is the parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran parish of Hilter, which belongs to the church district of Melle-Georgsmarienhütte of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Hanover.
The current church building was built between 1857 and 1859 in the neo-Gothic style according to plans by the architect Conrad Wilhelm Hase on the site of a previous building. The west tower from the 13th century was raised and equipped with stepped gables on all four sides. It is a cross-shaped hall building made of house stone with a polygonal, recessed choir.
