The St. Briccius Church of the Protestant Church Community of Huntlosen was built around 1250 as a fortified church.
It is the successor of an earlier wooden church from the 9th century and a stone church that was constructed here around 1120. Part of the stones used for the construction at that time can still be found in the masonry today. Detailed records exist about the preachers from the Reformation until 1903.
