The former spa house Dr. Apolant is a former sanatorium in the Baroque-inspired Art Nouveau style in Bad Kissingen. It is listed as a monument and is registered in the Bavarian monument register under the number D-6-72-114-67.
The medical councilor Dr. med. Edgar Apolant, born in Stettin as the son of the merchant Alexander Apolant and his wife Bertha Memmelsdorf, practiced as a successful doctor in Berlin-Wilmersdorf at Kaiserallee 23. In 1906, he was appointed as a confidential medical councilor. His family was of Jewish descent but had since converted to Protestantism.
