Donnerschweer Stadion was a multi-use stadium in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, on the corner of Donnerschweer Straße and Wehdestraße. It was also called Hell of the North.
The Donnerschweer Stadium was originally built by the Oldenburg Cycling Club in 1884 as a velodrome. The square was particularly suitable for this, as sand for Oldenburg's main station had already been removed at this point and there were therefore favourable conditions for the installation of the steep walls.
