Trebsen Castle is a late Gothic building, originally constructed as a water castle, in the Saxon town of Trebsen in the district of Leipzig.
The castle is located on the eastern edge of the town of Trebsen, right on the banks of the Mulde River. To the north, the castle park extends over more than six hectares. The four-winged castle complex has a nearly rectangular floor plan of about 50 by 44 meters. The arched access to the courtyard leads through the somewhat narrower southern wing, which is flanked by the gable ends of the eastern and western wings. Both gable ends feature Gothic stepped gables, with the eastern one being taller, while the western one is more elaborately designed as a corner double gable. The eastern and western wings each have twelve window axes facing outward.
