The Ifta is a left orographic tributary of the Werra in Thuringia, Germany, measuring 5.5 km over the Klingenborn, 8.9 km over the Lüderbach, and even 11.1 km over the Augraben.
The Klingborn is a strongly flowing karst spring on the outskirts of Ifta. Just 100 m southwest of this spring, the Ifta flows in from the left, merging with the Lüderbach coming from Lüderbach, over which the water stationing of the Ifta is conducted. Another 500 meters southeast was the Klingborn mill, the first grain mill along the river. In the locality, the Augraben also joins the Ifta from the south. About 200 m east of the locality is the Wehrecke, where a mill ditch established in the high Middle Ages was diverted to feed the grain mills of Creuzburg. Just below the Wehrecke, the Rösselbach follows.
