The memorial for the murdered Jews of Wiesbaden, colloquially also known as the Michelsberg Memorial or Memorial Name Commemoration in the Hessian capital Wiesbaden, is a memorial for the Jewish victims of the Holocaust from Wiesbaden during the time of National Socialism.
During the pogrom night of November 9/10, 1938, the synagogue built in 1869 on Michelsberg was set on fire by National Socialists. The building was so severely damaged that it was demolished in 1939. For a long time, the events were not publicly commemorated on site, and due to the construction of the high bridge, the location was at risk of completely disappearing from public view.
