The town hall of Velten, located at Rathausstraße 10, is the seat of the city administration, the city council, and the mayor of the Brandenburg town of Velten.
The building was originally built as a privately operated power plant with a capacity of 300,000 kWh. It was not until 1909 that it was transferred to municipal hands. As the energy demand, particularly from the ceramics industry, continued to rise, it was shut down in 1911 and the municipality was connected to the regional power grid.
