Ederkopf is the name of a 650 m high slope on the southern flank of the mountain Oberste Henn near Benfe in the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is known nationwide for the Eder spring.
The Ederkopf lies in the southern part of the Rothaargebirge on the border of Siegerland and Wittgensteiner Land about 400 m south-southeast of the Oberste Henn, on which the transmitter tower of the Ederkopf transmitter stands. It is located in the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park, one half between the municipality of Erndtebrück with the district of Benfe and the town of Netphen with the district of Nauholz, between the village of Benfe 2.1 km east-southeast , the village of Sohlbach 3.8 km west-northwest and Lützel 4.3 km northwest . Just under 950 m west-southwest of the Ederkopf lies the geographical centre of the Siegen-Wittgenstein district; The Rothaarsteig leads directly past it at an altitude of 592.9 m, passing the Eder spring directly and also south of the Ederkopf. The Siegerland Höhenring leads almost 200 metres south of the spring.
