The Trüfte, also called Trufte, is a 9.6 km long left or northern tributary of the Eder in the Rothaargebirge, district of Siegen-Wittgenstein in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The source streams of the Trüfte, which flows exclusively in the district of the city of Bad Berleburg in the Sauerland-Rothaargebirge Nature Park – Österze, Mittelste, and Westerze – spring from forested areas on the southeast slope of the main ridge of the Rothaargebirge: on the southwest flank of the Großer Kopf the Westerze, below its notch to the 740.0 m high base of the Hohscheid the Mittelste, and below the latter peak the Österze.
