The beginnings of the Municipal Gallery date back to 1961, when exhibitions were organized voluntarily in the concert and theater hall. Since 1999, the Municipal Gallery has been located in two pavilions in the Old Weaving Mill. They were designed by the Irish artist Stephen Craig and are approximately 460 m² in size.
