The Dr.-Leo-Löwenstein-Barracks is one of three barracks in Aachen. It houses a part of the Army Technical School. Its address is Kornelimünsterweg 27.
Originally built as Gallwitz Barracks, it was renamed Dr.-Leo-Löwenstein-Barracks on January 21, 2014, due to the anti-democratic and anti-Semitic views of its namesake Max von Gallwitz. Leo Löwenstein was a Jewish physicist, chemist, and artilleryman from Aachen, who served as a captain in the reserve during World War I in the artillery testing commission and developed sound measurement for operational readiness.
