The Alt Garge power plant is a former coal-fired power plant of the Hamburgische Electricitäts-Werke on the Elbe east of the village of Alt Garge in the northeast of Lower Saxony.
The power plant was built during the Second World War with the use of numerous forced laborers, who were housed in the Alt Garge subcamp from 1944 onwards, but did not go into operation until after the end of the war. In 1974 it was shut down for economic reasons and demolished in 1987/88 except for small remains.
