The Oak Forests near Berensch are a nature reserve consisting of several parts in the Berensch-Arensch district of the Lower Saxony city of Cuxhaven.
The nature reserve with the designation NSG LÜ 086 has a total area of 23.5 hectares. 19.4 hectares are part of the FFH area "Coastal Heaths and Krattwälder near Cuxhaven". The area, which has been a nature reserve since 30 December 1982, was originally around 30.5 hectares in size. Part of the part of the nature reserve southwest of Berensch on the edge of the Geest was later merged into the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the city of Cuxhaven.
