Description

The Rehden Geestmoor Regeneration Area is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipalities of Rehden and Hemsloh in the joint municipality of Rehden in the district of Diepholz.

The nature reserve with the designation NSG HA 089 was 591 hectares in size. It was almost completely part of the FFH area "Rehdener Geestmoor" and the EU bird sanctuary "Diepholzer Moorniederung". The area had been a nature reserve since 12 December 1985. On 2 November 2018, it was merged with the Rehden Geestmoor. The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Diepholz.
