The Hemelinger Aktien Brewery was a brewing operation that had been located in the then Bremen suburb and today's district of Hemelingen since 1878. In 1921, the Aktienbrauerei was acquired by Beck & Co. The brewing site of the HAB was closed in 1981. The original operating site on Hemelinger Bahnhofstraße was long used as a branch and distribution warehouse for Beck & Co., as well as a bottling plant for Bremer Erfrischungsgetränke GmbH. In 2007, the company was acquired by Coca-Cola Erfrischungsgetränke GmbH; the location was closed on July 1, 2016.
