The motte at Messenkamp is a small abandoned lowland castle of the type of a keep motte, located near Messenkamp in the district of Schaumburg in Lower Saxony. The construction time of the fortification is presumed to be around the year 1200.
The remains of the small motte are located about 600 meters south of Messenkamp in the floodplain of the Rodenberger Aue, which flows about 100 meters to the west. To the north, the site is bordered by a straightened brook. The castle moat surrounding the hill is filled in, but can still be perceived as such.
