The Bäken of Endeler and Holzhauser Heide are a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Visbek in the district of Vechta, the town of Wildeshausen, and the municipality of Großenkneten in the district of Oldenburg, as well as the municipality of Emstek in the district of Cloppenburg.
The nature reserve, designated NSG WE 189, covers an area of approximately 500 hectares. Of this, 345 hectares are in the district of Vechta, 125 hectares in the district of Oldenburg, and 30 hectares in the district of Cloppenburg. The nature reserve is almost identical to the equally named FFH area and is predominantly surrounded by the landscape protection areas "Auetal, Holzhauser Heide, Steinhorst, Ahlhorner Heide" and "Endeler and Langenheide with the valleys of Engelmannsbäke, Twillbäke, Schaarenbäke, and Aue." The area has been protected since June 4, 1988. The responsible lower nature conservation authorities are the districts of Vechta, Oldenburg, and Cloppenburg.
