The Duisburg-Huckingen Thermal Power Plant is a single-cycle gas-fired power plant, commissioned in 1975, operated by RWE but integrated into the Hüttenwerke Krupp Mannesmann steel complex in the district of Duisburg-Hüttenheim.
Because of its recovery of the gas from this site, it is one of the few gas installations that remains in service even when the price differential does not allow natural gas units to be competitive with coal units.
