The Oerlinghausen-Südstadt is a large housing estate of the city of Oerlinghausen in the northeast of North Rhine-Westphalia, was laid out at the beginning of the 1960s and continuously expanded in the following period. It is located in the Senne south of the slopes of the Teutoburg Forest and extends to the border of the glider airfield. In addition to a few high-rise buildings, it has several apartment blocks and numerous terraced and single-family houses, which are inhabited by around 3,400 people.
