The Ecclesiastical Province of Paderborn, also known as the Central German Ecclesiastical Province, is an ecclesiastical province of the Roman Catholic Church in Germany.
The ecclesiastical province includes large areas in the east of North Rhine-Westphalia and northern Hesse, smaller areas in the south of Lower Saxony, large parts of Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt, as well as smaller regions of Brandenburg and Saxony. Until the founding of the Archdiocese of Hamburg on 7 January 1995, the Diocese of Hildesheim, and most of Lower Saxony belonged to the Paderborn Ecclesiastical Province.
