The Schlebornbach / Düstere Siepen nature reserve with a size of 18.52 ha is located in the Arnsberg Forest north of Nuttlar in the municipality of Bestwig in North Rhine-Westphalia. The area was designated as a nature reserve in 2008 by the Hochsauerland district with the Bestwig landscape plan. The NSG includes the Schlebornbach and Düstere Siepen streams with their floodplains. To the east, in the Schlebornbach valley in the urban area of Olsberg, borders the Tiefe Hohl - Kottensiepen nature reserve. There is the source of the Schlebornbach. West of the NSG, two parts of the Schlebornbach valley system landscape conservation area adjoin. After about 100 m along the Eidmecke stream in the Schlebornbach valley system landscape conservation area comes the Eidmecketalsystem nature reserve. The Eidmecke flows into the Schlebornbach at the southwestern edge of the NSG.
