Konradsheim Castle in Erftstadt is one of the water towers in the Lechenich district. It is located just under two kilometers north of Lechenich Castle in Frenzenstraße, at the northern exit of Konradsheim, and is one of the few remaining castle complexes from the late Middle Ages.
The builder of Konradsheim Castle was the knight Arnold von Buschfeld. In 1337, for the sum of 400 guilders, he transferred to the Archbishop of Cologne, Walram von Jülich, the right to open door to his fortified house, which had been built with his own funds, which gave the archbishop the right to use the fortified house at any time. During the feudal period, Archbishop Walram Arnold von Buschfeld ensured the male and female succession.
