The old Evangelical Church is a listed neo-Romanesque church building in Bornheim, a town in the Rhein-Sieg district.
The small hall building with a semicircular apse and a west tower in front was built in 1863 under the construction supervision of the Bonn municipal master builder Paul Richard Thomann and inaugurated in 1866. The red brick walls are divided by light-coloured banding. The building type is classical, the exterior structure neo-Romanesque. The roof truss construction inside is kept open. The decorative painting took place at the end of the 19th century. On the west side there is a square tower with a slate hooded roof. A projected entrance with a large arched door is located on the left long side. The building was in need of renovation at the beginning of the 21st century due to a leaking roof and pest infestation. In 2019, the renovation of the façade began, after which the interior is to be repaired.
