Caspersbroich Castle is a castle located in the Ohligs district of Solingen, Germany. The property of the castle lords also included the feudal cottages of Buschenhaus, Hagscheid, Sombers, Hülsberg and Zwengenberg. Until 1808, Caspersbroich belonged to the parish of Wald.
Around the year 1220, a vassal of Count Engelbert the Saint settled on the Itter, made the marshes usable for agricultural purposes and built a manor house. In 1438, the squire Caspar von Pertsdorf bought the property and expanded it into a knight's residence. From 1460 to 1480, Ritter Pertsdorf presided over the Solingen Amt.
