The Wilhelm I Monument is a monument in Wülfrath, Germany, paying homage to Kaiser Wilhelm I, the founder of German unity. It lies on the border with Wuppertal, visible from Aprath Castle.
The monument is located on a hill surrounded by Landesstraße 74 . This road connects Vohwinkel, which belongs to the municipality of Wuppertal, and the city of Wülfrath. This hill is bordered by meadows and fields and the monument itself is surrounded by trees. There is also a mast next to the monument. The railway line Wuppertal-Vohwinkel - Essen, which is now used by an S-Bahn, and the federal motorway 535 are in sight.
