Het Kaiser-Wilhelm-monument in Wülfrath staat op de grens met Wuppertal, in het zicht van kasteel Aprath.
Het monument staat op een heuvelrug die wordt omringd door de rijksweg 74. De rijksweg is de verbinding tussen de Wuppertalse wijk Vohwinkel en de stad Wülfrath. De heuvelrug is omgeven door velden en weiden, het monument zelf wordt losjes omgeven door bomen. Naast het monument staat ook een vlaggenmast. In het zicht ligt ook het spoortraject van de Prins-Wilhelm-spoorweg, dat vandaag de dag door een S-Bahn wordt bereden, en de autosnelweg 535.
