Adendorf Castle

Description

Adendorf Castle is a former aristocratic residence on the southern edge of Adendorf, a district of Wachtberg in North Rhine-Westphalia. Nearby are Münchhausen Castle and Gudenau Castle.
Although the name suggests otherwise, Adendorf is not a castle, but a moated castle, which is why the name Adendorf Castle is also used for the complex. It is a listed building and is one of the best-preserved moated castle complexes in the Rhein-Sieg district.
