The Lüderich is a mountain range that extends through the towns of Overath, Rösrath, and Lohmar in the Bergisches Land region of North Rhine-Westphalia. With an elevation of 260.2 meters above sea level, it is the highest point in Rösrath.
Mining in the Bensberg ore district has a long history at Lüderich. This is discussed in detail in the article about the Lüderich mine. The Lüderich mining area extended from the city limits of Overath into the city limits of Rösrath over a distance of about four kilometers from north to south over the mountain, with the deposits including: Nordlager, Bleifelder Lagerstätte, Frühling, Bergmannsfreude, Sommer, Hangender Sommer, Franziska, and Franziskaquergang. To the south, in the Hoffnungsthal district, was the Bergsegen mine. On the western slope were the mines Grube Anacker, Grube Aurora, Grube Gustav Bischof, Gruben Nestor and Peter, Grube Schnepfenthal, Grube Volta, Grube Wallenstein, and Grube Wallenstein II. On the eastern slope, near Am Heidenkeller street, was the Grube Leibnitz.
