The building Unter den Ulmen 96 is a villa in the Cologne district of Marienburg, built in 1906/07 and belonging to the villa colony Köln-Marienburg. It is located as a corner house to the Bayenthalgürtel at the northern edge of the district. The villa is protected as a historic monument.
The villa was created for the client Ludwig Schneller, a Protestant pastor and theologian, according to a design by the architect Eugen Fabricius, just like the opposite villa at Bayenthalgürtel 15. Since Schneller was the chairman of the Protestant Association for the Syrian Orphanage in Jerusalem, part of the house was set up as its headquarters.
