Strauweiler Castle is a castle in Germany, located in the Dhünn Valley in Odenthal in the district of Rhine-Berg.
The seigniorial domain is mentioned for the first time in writing around the year 1300. A small fortified castle has probably existed there since the end of the twelfth century, seat of the lords of Odenthal. The current castle was built in 1565 and remodelled over time. It belonged successively to the lords of Vorst, von Quadt, von Hall and von Wolff-Metternich. The castle is now owned by a branch of the princely family zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg. It cannot be visited, but is open for certain cultural events.
