The parish church of St. Mary's Assumption is a Roman Catholic church in Solingen-Gräfrath. It belongs to the ensemble of buildings of the former monastery of Gräfrath.
The church is based on a predecessor structure, Cappella Greverode, which was built before 1180. Parts of a second church building, a Romanesque pillar basilica from 1195, are visible in the left nave wall after excavation in 1991. From 1185 to 1187, the convent of Gräfrath for Augustinian choir women was established here. In 1250, the late Romanesque western section was built. The portal and the southern axis are still present. After 1300, the third church building was created as an extension to the two-nave hall church. The church was destroyed by fires in Gräfrath in 1666, 1685, and 1717.
