The Ruhraue nature reserve in Hattingen-Winz is an approximately 119-hectare, or almost 1.2 km², nature reserve on the Ruhr River in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is entirely located in the district of Winz in the southwest of the Winz-Baak district of Hattingen. The nature reserve is situated in a river bend and includes a floodplain area characterized by grassland, extending for about five kilometers along the right or northern bank of the Ruhr.
