The source of the Lahn in Lahnhof, a district of the town of Netphen in the North Rhine-Westphalian district of Siegen-Wittgenstein, is the spring located in the Rothaar Mountains of the 245.6 km long Lahn river, which flows into the Rhine at Niederlahnstein in Rhineland-Palatinate. Its source pond once served as a firefighting pond and is also known by the name Lahntopf.
