The Monastery of 's-Gravendaal or Nieuwklooster is a former Cistercian monastery between Kessel and Asperden in the municipality of Goch in Germany.
The name 's-Gravendaal comes from the Latin 'vallis comitis'. The monastery was founded in 1248 by Count Otto II of Guelders at the insistence of his wife Margaret of Cleves. The monastery church was the first building on the monastery complex. In 1251 the body of Margaret of Cleves was interred there. The first nuns moved into the convent in 1250. In the second half of the 13th century, the monastery flourished, partly thanks to the power of the Counts of Guelders. The monastery owned extensive lands and farms in the region through donations. In addition, it possessed the patronage rights of the churches in Kessel, Asperden, Hommersum and Hassum.
