Rindern Castle is a former manor house in the village of Rindern, which today belongs to the city of Kleve. Since 1956, the moated castle has served as the seat of the "Catholic Adult Education Centre Wasserburg Rindern".
Rindern Castle was built in 1654 as Gut op gen Poll by Herman Hecking and G. Ranwick. In 1666, the Great Elector of Brandenburg acquired the estate as a hunting lodge. Under his governor Johann Moritz von Nassau-Siegen, it was included in the Kleve Gardens. At the beginning of the 18th century, the moated castle was probably redesigned for the first time. A further reconstruction took place in 1851, during which only a few sandstone ornaments of the original façade design were preserved.
