Rimburg Castle is a castle from the twelfth century and is located in Rimburg, on the territory of the German municipality of Übach-Palenberg.
It is in the same situation as some other Limburg castles such as Neercanne and the ruins of Castle
Millen, which were separated from the respective villages at the foot of their walls after the drawing of new boundaries (Rimburg only in 1963).
The castle was built in the twelfth century, equipped with a keep. Over the years, the castle was destroyed several times and only acquired its current appearance at the end of the nineteenth and the beginning of the twentieth century.
