Breill Castle, also known as Gut Breill, is located south of Federal Highway 221 in the field area between the North Rhine-Westphalian towns of Geilenkirchen and Übach-Palenberg in the district of Hünshoven of Geilenkirchen. The castle complex evolved from a medieval motte, which was replaced by a mansion in the 15th/16th century. This was expanded and altered from the 17th to the 19th century before being completely destroyed in World War II. Partially rebuilt in the post-war period, the complex has been a listed building since January 10, 1983. It is not open to visitors.
