St. Johann Baptist is a Roman Catholic parish church in Niedermerz, in the municipality of Aldenhoven in the district of Düren in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The church is under the patronage of John the Baptist and is entered under number 18 in the list of architectural monuments in Aldenhoven.
As early as the 12th century, there was a small church in Niedermerz. The Romanesque bell tower is still preserved from this, which is located in the east as a choir tower. The superstructure of the tower and the nave date from the 18th century. The nave was built as a simple, baroque hall building. The choir, which is located in the choir tower, was restored in 1865.
