Trips Castle is a moated castle in the valley of the Worm, located on the northeastern outskirts of Geilenkirchen in the district of Heinsberg, close to the border with the Dutch province of South Limburg.
Since the 14th century, this castle has been the ancestral home of the Berghen von Trips family. In the first half of the 18th century, the building was given to the Barons of Eynatten, who rebuilt the medieval castle in Baroque style.
