Schlaubehammer is a district of the municipality of Groß Lindow, located in the Oder-Spree district in the southeast of Brandenburg.
Schlaubehammer lies on the Friedrich-Wilhelm Canal, which connects the Spree with the Oder. There were locks both in the village itself and at the residential area of Hammerfort, but these have been out of operation since the end of World War II. Since the expansion of the canal to the Oder-Spree Canal, Schlaubehammer has become the starting point of the remaining section of the Friedrich-Wilhelm Canal, which has been called the Brieskower Canal since 1951. In the other part, from the former Buschschleuse to Schlaubehammer, the existing canal was used for the construction of the Oder-Spree Canal. This branches off shortly before the town center and runs from there towards Eisenhüttenstadt.
