Kränzlin is a village in Brandenburg on the Ruppiner Plateau, approximately five kilometers west of Neuruppin, and has about 450 inhabitants. It belongs to the municipality of Märkisch Linden.
The first documented mention of the settlement dates back to 1291 as Krencelin. The name is derived from the personal name Kranschela. Around 1490, Kränzlin was part of the largely imperial immediate lordship of Ruppin under the territorial lordship of the Counts of Lindow-Ruppin.
