The Nordhafen Spandau is a branch canal of the Havel and a former inland port in Berlin. It is located in the Hakenfelde district of Spandau. The Berlin State Shipping Regulations list the canal as a navigable state waterway. Watercraft must not exceed a length of 67 m and a width of 8.20 m.
The approximately 500-meter-long waterway is located opposite the Havel island Kleiner Wall in the section of the Havel referred to as Spandauer See at the Maselake Bay. It stretches from the western bank of the Havel to the Hohenzollernpark at Streitstraße. The only reminders of the port, which emerged from the fortress ditch between 1908 and 1912, are the name and design elements of new park facilities. On the southern shore, there is a historic boathouse from 1911; otherwise, since 2011, the southern shore has been almost completely developed with terraced houses, urban villas, and a senior center. On the northern shore, a promenade of the Maselake Park, established in 2006/2007, runs along, which is part of the Havel cycle path and the Havelseenweg.
