The ferry line F11 is a ferry connection operated by the Berlin transport company on the Spree river between Baumschulenstraße in Berlin-Baumschulenweg and the small garden area Wilhelmstrand in Berlin-Oberschöneweide. It is the oldest ferry connection in Berlin.
The ferry had its first trip to the Trade Exhibition in 1896. At that time, the ferry belonged to the innkeeper of the Spreeschloss, which was destroyed in World War II, a leisure restaurant on the Oberschöneweide bank. In the 1960s, the private ferry was sold to the VEB Fahrgastschifffahrt Berlin. Today, it belongs to BVG.
