The Schwarzer Adler restaurant is a listed building from the 15th/16th century in Bernau near Berlin.
In the 15th/16th century, two initially independent buildings were built, which were used until the Reformation in 1540/41 as a house of prayer for the Bernau Kaland brothers. During the time of Frederick II, it was converted into a hostel with an adjoining restaurant. In May 1882, the premises were used to prepare for the first Hussite festival, which is still celebrated in the town today. Until then, only a thanksgiving procession had been carried out to ward off the revolutionary Bohemian movement, but now a parade was to take place for the first time.
