The island is located in the northeast of the lake near the village of Gosen between the islands of Nixenwall and Berg.
The island was leased in 1931 by Leberecht Migge from the district of Köpenick. The lease was renewed and extended in 1933. In terms of landscape, the island belongs to the Gosener Graben, it is mainly swampy. Leberecht had the northern part of the island filled with garbage in 1932/1933. He had concluded a contract with a Berlin waste disposal company for this purpose. In the northern part of the island a small jetty was built, on the west side there is a small sunbathing lawn. Also in the northeastern part is the house built by Migge.
