The chapel in the Evangelical Cemetery Fredersdorf-Süd in the municipality of Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf was built between 1933 and 1934 according to a project by the Berlin architect and consistorial master builder Curt Steinberg and has been a listed monument since 2010.
The cemetery chapel, built of clinker bricks and consecrated on 23 September 1934, is located in the Protestant cemetery of Fredersdorf-Süd on Schöneicher Allee. From the southern entrance to the cemetery on today's Walter-Kollo-Straße, a narrow avenue of lime trees leads to the chapel site. Since the construction of the hereditary burial place of the Bohm family in the 1880s, however, it has been the focal point of the avenue. However, when it was inscribed in the list of monuments, the avenue of lime trees was expressly included in the chapel as well as in Bohm's hereditary burial, and the hedge of the tree of life is also part of the chapel.
