The Eberswalde Family Garden is a landscape park developed for the second edition of the Brandenburg State Garden Exhibition in 2002 on the grounds of a former rolling mill in Eberswalde and has since served as a leisure and event area. The design was carried out by the landscape architecture firm Topotek 1 from Berlin. It combines industrial cultivation with garden art and recreational use.
The Finow Valley is the oldest industrial landscape of the Brandenburg Brand. The former "Brandenburg Wuppertal" was created at the beginning of the 17th century in Eberswalde and Heegermühle with the districts of Kupferhammer, Messingwerk and Eisenspalterei along the Finow Canal.
